The portable engine crane can be used in conjunction with the aircraft fuselage to conduct maintenance in remote locations. Its lightweight and easy assembly makes it easy to transport. It’s perfect for operators who don’t have a fixed base or it can be used in an emergency when the helicopter is grounded. It can be installed in minutes and mounts to external hard points on the aircraft for support and stability.
The portable crane supports up to a total of 323 lbs. and can be used to remove and assemble the main rotor head, mast assembly, transmission and engine. The crane breaks down into 4 sections and weighs less than 90 lbs.
Custom transport and carrying case sold separately.
